Apostle
Apostle, a branding agency based in Franklin, Tennessee, had a distinct identity in place but sought a fresh perspective to help evolve it further. Their talented lead designer had established the foundational elements of the brand, and Kelsey was brought in to build upon that work. She animated Jonny’s original logo, introduced a variety of blackletter fonts—each symbolizing one of the disciples—and integrated a stained-glass-inspired gradient to echo the theme of “bringing your story to light.” The identity system was carefully constructed on a 13-column grid, representing the 12 disciples plus Paul. This symbolism carried through to details like the back of the business cards, which featured a ‘collect-them-all’ mosaic starring Saint Paul. The collaboration with the Apostle team resulted in a thoughtful and visually striking brand evolution.
